History

OUR STORY

Blue Planet Foods Pvt. Ltd. was started by the initiative of Chef Gowtham Balasubramanian, Chef Balaji Balachander and hotelier Michael Anthony. The first outlet of SALT was established in 2013 in Forum Vijaya Mall, Chennai. Success with the public and the satisfaction expressed by customers for our food convinced us to enter Bangalore in 2016.

In the following years, we expanded and have successfully established 3 outlets in Bangalore – Forum Mall Kormangala, Form Shantiniketan Whitefield and VR Bengaluru. 

From the stunning Himalayan mountains in the north and continuing to the fertile plains in the south, we bring to our menu various culinary delights of extraordinary Indian cuisine. At SALT, we provide you with a taste of inherited culture, tradition and serve you with exotic and authentic flavours from the best cuisines of India.

One of the best place for North Indian style cuisine. Loved each and every dish we had. Chicken, mushroom and lamb starters, naan and chicken for main course and even the dessert was very tasty. The staffs are very courteous and service was also very quick. I think I have found a place to go next time whenever I want to have North Indian food.
